Description
Distilled in Oaxaca from the madrecuixe agave, this joven mezcal is bottled at 50.2% ABV in a 750 ml format. Madrecuixe is prized for the depth and aroma it brings to the still, and this expression is built around those traits rather than around wood.
Because it carries the joven designation, the spirit goes into the bottle without extended barrel aging, leaving the agave’s fresh side intact. Expect smoke alongside agave sweetness, floral lift, herbal complexity and a mineral finish.
