Made from espadin agave using time-honored methods, Fidencio Clasico is a straightforward look at how traditional mezcal is built. The 44% ABV pour carries smoke and roasted agave up front, with citrus and mineral undertones running underneath. That interplay of smoke and fruit is the marker of a well-made Mexican spirit, and the artisanal process here gives the mezcal enough layers to hold up on its own. It works neat or as the base of a modern mezcal cocktail.
