Part of the Mundial Collection, this Laphroaig Edition from El Tesoro comes from a single barrel chosen for the way it carried the añejo through its time in wood. Bottled at 40.1% ABV in a 750 ml format. The pour leans on cooked agave and oak, with vanilla, caramel and chocolate filling out the middle and a layer of complex spice running underneath. It’s an aged tequila made along traditional production lines, with each barrel standing on its own.
