Description
Facundo Neo Silver Rum takes its name from the Latin word for “new,” a reference to the reinvention of light rum within the Facundo Rum Collection. It is built by blending light- to medium-bodied rums matured in oak barrels, with younger rums contributing brightness and older reserves adding smoothness and a well-rounded character.
After ageing, the component rums are carefully filtered to strip out only the color picked up from the barrel, leaving a sheer blonde hue in the glass while the aged character remains. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The aroma is slightly fruity, with subtle almond and floral notes suggesting vanilla orchid. The palate brings fruit forward with star fruit and dried stone fruits over undertones of candied almond, finishing crisp, vibrant, clean and balanced.
