Description
What happens when Mexican spirit meets casks from Islay? El Tesoro’s Mundial Collection Scotch Cask Añejo, Laphroaig Edition, answers that question by finishing its añejo expression in Laphroaig casks and bottling the result at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The cask work leaves its mark: smoke threads through the pour, peaty undertones sit underneath, and oak complexity frames the agave character that remains at the core. It’s a cross-border experiment built on El Tesoro’s Mexican production and Laphroaig’s peat-driven signature.
