Description
El Tequileño Platino is a blanco made from 100% estate-grown blue agave in the highlands of Jalisco. It comes from NOM 1108, the Salles family distillery. The agave is roasted in an autoclave and crushed with a roller mill. It is distilled in copper pot stills and cut with volcanic spring water.
Once distilled, it rests in American oak for at least 14 days. That brief time in wood rounds off the edges. The bright, clean agave flavor stays front and center.
Expect cooked agave and fresh herbs on the nose, with light anise and cracked pepper. The palate is savory, with a gentle kick of spice. The finish stays soft and delicate.
It won Gold in the Ultra-Premium Blanco class at the 2026 Tequila and Mezcal Masters. It also holds a gold medal from the USA Spirits Ratings. Enjoy it on the rocks or shake it into a fresh lime margarita. You can browse the full or compare it with other .
