Description
El Jolgorio Arroqueño Mezcal is a true gem in the world of artisanal mezcal. This extraordinary spirit is part of the exclusive El Jolgorio Special Release series, a testament to the craftsmanship of the Vasquez family, led by the legendary maestro mezcalero Pedro Vasquez and his sons, Librado and Pedro Jr. This mezcal is a tribute to the arroqueño agave, a species once abundantly used in mezcal production but now increasingly rare due to its long maturation period of 15-20 years. El Jolgorio Arroqueño is produced at the Vasquez family’s remote ranch in Lachigui, nestled deep within the wild, high-elevation terrain of the Miahuatlán district in Oaxaca, Mexico.
