Description
Drawn from a single 2009 vintage, this 750 ml release comes entirely from the Versailles still in Guyana, bottled at 40% ABV. Because Versailles works differently from Port Mourant, the spirit it produces carries its own signature, shaped by the design and operation of that particular still.
In the glass, dried fruit and spiced wood lead, followed by caramel and tropical notes with vanilla running underneath and a warming finish. As a single-still vintage bottling, it points to the range of styles that Guyanese distilling traditions continue to produce.
