Bottled at cask strength, this 750 ml release from El Dorado is drawn from the Enmore still and left uncut, so the spirit arrives at a full 54.3% ABV. The result is weighty on the palate, with oak and molasses leading into spice, leather and dried fruit.
Single-still bottlings like this one keep the output of one still separate rather than blending it away, letting the Enmore distillation profile come through unmasked. Expect a heavy body and a warming intensity that runs through the finish.
