The Ducks Unlimited Mallard Duck Straight Bourbon Whiskey opens a new collaboration between Ducks Unlimited and the World Whiskey Society, released in September 2024 as the first bottle in the series. The whiskey ships inside a hand-painted ceramic decanter shaped as a mallard drake mid-flight, with each piece hand-finished and packaged in a printed window presentation box. Every bottle sold supports Ducks Unlimited’s wetland conservation work.
Inside the decanter is a no-age-statement straight bourbon whiskey distilled in Indiana. It pours a deep amber and opens with vanilla bean, candied citrus peel, and toasted honey on the nose. The palate carries buttery caramel and spiced orange zest with a whisper of charred oak, finishing silky and slow with a gentle fade of baking spice and sweet wood.
The sculptural decanter makes this a natural centerpiece for a bar cart or display shelf, and a strong gift for waterfowl hunters, conservation supporters, and bourbon collectors alike.
