Description
Don Papa 10 Year is a Philippine rum aged for a decade and bottled at 43% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. It is made at a single distillery from molasses sourced from local sugarcane.
Maturation takes place in tropical conditions, where the climate speeds up interaction between spirit and wood compared with temperate aging. The result is a spirit that drinks with more depth than its stated age suggests.
Expect vanilla, caramel and tropical fruit, with oak and spice framing a molasses sweetness.
