Time in oak shapes this 750 ml reposado from Don Lorenzo, bottled at 42% ABV. Cooked agave leads the way, followed by vanilla from the barrel, caramel sweetness and a lift of citrus. A touch of mild pepper appears before the finish turns smooth, keeping the blue agave character intact alongside the oak. The result works equally well sipped on its own or built into premium cocktails.
