Bottled at 42% ABV, Don Lorenzo Blanco sits just above the usual strength for an unaged tequila, and that extra bit of proof shows. Fresh agave leads the way, followed by bright citrus, white pepper and a green, herbaceous edge that runs through to a warm finish.
The 750ml bottle reflects careful agave selection and attentive production, giving the spirit more depth than many standard blanco expressions. Unaged and clear, it holds up well sipped neat, where the higher strength adds weight to the fresh agave core.
