Description
Rested in oak barrels, Don Julio Reposado arrives in a 1.75 L bottle that sits between the sharpness of a blanco and the depth of an an”ejo. Time in wood gives the tequila a light golden cast and rounded vanilla character without covering the agave underneath.
The nose opens with lemon citrus, spice and ripe stone fruit, while the palate carries soft dark chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon. It closes on dried fruit, nuts and caramel apple, with a silky, warm finish. The ABV is unspecified, and the tequila works for both sipping and mixing, making the large format practical for hosts.
