A very ripe though appealingly fresh nose freely offers up its blend of black cherry, cassis, warm earth and a dollop of oak toast. There is very good vibrancy to the rich and generous middle weight flavors that conclude in a lingering bitter chocolate-tinged finale that is delicious but could use better depth.
