Here the nose is much spicier though its Nuits origins are in evidence as there is plenty of earth present on the blackberry and lightly menthol-infused aromas. The mouth coating flavors are seductively textured with excellent volume though the finish is quite firm and moderately rustic with a touch of austerity.
