Description
Dom Perignon Rose sets out to capture the red character of Pinot Noir. A decade of maturation on the lees in the cellars shelters that color and expression, then releases it on a clear, elevated note that is playful, vibrant, complex and hard to pin down. The assemblage carries a sense of harmony from start to finish, an act of creation held at the center of the house style. Bottled at 750 ml and 12.5% ABV.
On the nose, bright red fruit leads the way, with redcurrant and wild strawberry followed by warmer touches of ripe hay, blood orange and cocoa. The palate opens smooth and enveloping, yet precision takes over by the close: a chiseled, penetrating line carried forward by an unexpected note of green citrus.
