Description
Dom Pérignon Vintage 2018 – Damien Hirst Limited Edition pairs one of the house’s most harmonious recent vintages with the work of British artist Damien Hirst. For this collaboration Hirst revisited his celebrated Kaleidoscope series, begun in 2001 with butterfly wings, and turned Dom Pérignon’s historic shield into a repeating, stained-glass pattern of deep blues and violets. A black neck collar reads “Limited Edition” above the artist’s signature, and the bottle arrives in a matching Kaleidoscope gift box.
Inside, the 2018 vintage is radiant and serene, with breadth, depth and density. Smoky, chalky minerality opens onto black cherry, lemon pâte de fruit, brioche and grilled nuts, carried by a fine, silky mousse to a long, creamy finish. Wine Spectator rated it 96 points, calling it structured yet graceful and drinking well through 2045.
Released in limited quantities, it is a standout gift and a natural addition to any collection of Dom Pérignon’s artist editions.
