Description
Doc Holliday Bottled in Bond Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a limited-edition release that debuted in January 2025, distilled at Scissortail Distillery in Moore, Oklahoma. As a true bottled-in-bond expression, it comes from a single distillery and a single distilling season, aged a minimum of four years in a federally bonded warehouse under strict government oversight. The bottle carries a working revolver-cylinder cap topped with a gold steer-skull medallion, a nod to the brand’s Old West namesake.
Built on a wheated mash bill of 51% corn, 36% wheat, and 13% malted barley, this bourbon leans soft and fruit-forward rather than spicy. An amber pour opens with caramelized apples, maraschino cherry, roasted pecans, clove, and nutmeg. The palate carries that through with velvety apple pie and sweet cherry, a savory nutty edge, and deep vanilla warmed by gentle spice, finishing toasted and buttery with real length.
The bottled-in-bond designation and low production numbers make this one worth setting aside for a collection as well as pouring, and it pairs well alongside ‘ other wheated and bottled-in-bond bourbons for anyone building out a bond-only shelf. Ships to most US states. Adult-signature required at delivery.
