Description
Dictador 12 Year Old Solera System Rum is a Colombian rum built on the traditional solera method, where different age groups are blended together to keep the character consistent from batch to batch. The aging takes place in wooden casks, and the rum is bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The solera approach gives the spirit balanced, layered development rather than a single-vintage profile. The result is complex but approachable, a style that rewards rum drinkers looking for depth without heaviness.
On the nose and palate: molasses and caramel, with vanilla, warm spice and tropical fruit.
