Description
Four separate stages of maturation shape Dewar’s Double Double 21 Year Old, a blended Scotch built by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod using a method that sends the whisky back into wood more than once. The final stage takes place in Oloroso sherry casks, which round out the blend and stretch the finish. Bottled at 46% ABV in a 375 ml format.
On the palate, cinnamon sits alongside ripe vine fruits, with neither element taking over. The texture is the point here: silky and smooth from start to close, with the long finish that marks it as a Dewar’s blend.
