The whisky begins with aging malt and grain whiskies separately, followed by blending and re-aging them as malts and grains individually. These components are then married together and matured once more before undergoing a final finishing in rich Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The result is a deeply elegant and remarkably smooth whisky, layered with treacle, dried fruit, soft spice, and a whisper of smoke.
