Gold Miner Barrel Rum Reserve comes from Desert Diamond Distillery, where rum is aged in the American Southwest under hand-selected barrels. The reserve label points to a longer stay in wood, and the extra time shows in a rum that drinks smooth while holding onto layers of flavor.
Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, it carries oak and caramel through the middle, with vanilla and dark fruit filling in behind. The character comes from small-scale, artisanal production rather than volume distilling.
