Description
DeLeon A\u00f1ejo begins with 100% Highland Blue Weber Agave, whose pi\u00f1as are the sweetest of the harvest and give this tequila its depth and equilibrium. Maturation starts in bold American oak and concludes in delicate French oak wine casks, a two-stage approach that borrows from French winemaking practice as much as from tequila tradition.
The result is a glass built around rich caramel, with toasted oak and dried fruit holding the middle and a thread of silky vanilla closing things out. It suits a classic margarita. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle.
