Description
Minero follows an old method of mezcal making: the agave is milled with wooden bats, then distilled in a traditional clay still fitted with bamboo tubing. The result is a spirit that leans funky, pulling fruit and stone-like minerality into balance at 49% ABV.
Smoke from the roasted agave runs through the palate alongside earthy notes and bright citrus zest, while a mineral edge and a touch of pepper close things out. It is a distinctly unusual flavor profile and a cult favorite among mezcal drinkers.
