Description
Del Maguey Madrecuixe is a single village mezcal made by Marcos, Paciano’s son, in the lush, remote village of San Luis del Rio. It is distilled from Madrecuixe, a wild, tall cylindrical maguey whose leaves grow from the ground up.
The result is an elegant expression that leans classically vegetal and savory. Floral aromatics carry a hint of jamon, while the palate shows dark fig and forest floor before a long umami finish. The texture is smooth and the profile balanced, with subtle notes throughout.
Bottled at 750 ml and 47% ABV, 94 proof. Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal is meant to be sipped rather than shot.
