Description
Deadwood Tumblin Dice Straight Heavy Rye Single Barrel is bottled at 58.15% ABV in a 750 ml format. The heavy rye designation points to an elevated rye percentage in the mash bill, which shapes the spicy, complex direction of this whiskey.
Because it is a single barrel release, every bottle carries the specific influence of the cask it came from, with barrel-proof character and no smoothing over from batching. Expect distinct expressions from barrel to barrel, which is much of the appeal for collectors and enthusiasts.
On the nose and palate: rye spice, oak, clove, black pepper and caramel, held together by the weight and complexity of a barrel-proof pour.
