Description
This small batch straight bourbon starts with high-rye whiskey aged at least six years, then takes a second turn with custom-toasted oak staves cut in Jupilles, a French royal forest stewarded since the 14th century and known for its tight-grain wood that has long served winemakers. The toast profile was built specifically to work with the bourbon’s natural spice rather than cover it.
Bottled at 54% ABV in a 750 ml format, it opens with caramel and vanilla, then moves through oak, toasted nuts and a soft, sweet warmth that settles in slowly. The finish is long and gently sweet, making for a bourbon that reads as layered and detailed while staying easy to follow from first sip to last.
