Description
Cynar Ricetta Originale is an Italian herbal aperitivo built on a blend of 13 botanicals, with artichoke as the signature ingredient. It is bottled at 16.5% ABV in a 1 L format.
The profile is herbal and bittersweet: bitter artichoke leads, backed by earthy botanicals and a subtle sweetness that rounds out the finish. As a low-alcohol fortified wine, it carries real complexity without heavy weight.
The source recipe notes it can be taken neat, over ice, or used as a component in cocktails. The formulation has remained unchanged since its introduction.
