Description
(aged for 18 months in oak, 40% new), Bright yellow. Highly perfumed scents of candied citrus and pit fruits, honey and ginger, with a subtle vanilla undertone. Fleshy and expansive but surprisingly lively too, offering pliant tangerine and nectarine flavors and a touch of candied fig. Emphatically fruity but nervy as well, thanks to tangy acidity, which adds bite to the long, spice-tinged finish. This fruit is sourced from a 0.8-hectare plot in the prime Coteau Vernon sector of Condrieu. — Josh Raynolds
