Description
Crown Royal Black is a blended Canadian whisky matured in charred oak barrels and blended at a higher proof, which gives it a fuller body and a bolder finish than the standard expression. The texture is creamy, with dried fruit running through the palate for a refined, bourbon-leaning character that still carries the smoothness Crown Royal is known for.
Bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof) in a 1 L bottle, it holds its own in a Black Whisky Manhattan, where the added weight keeps the whisky present alongside vermouth and bitters.
