Znestra is a natural wine crafted by , in the Emilia-Romagna region in . This sparkling Pet Nat wine is made with grapes, more specifically Malvasia di Candia Aromatica. Expect citrus undertones with a subtle yeasty presence.
Two days of maceration on the skins.
Aged in stainless steel tanks and secondary fermentation in the bottle using indigenous yeasts.
Production Details: Znestra is a Malvasia di Candia from Emilia-Romagna. The grapes undergo just 2 days of skin maceration, imparting colour and subtle tannin without heavy extraction. The wine then ages for 5 months in stainless steel tanks. Following tank ageing, the wine is refermented in bottle, creating natural carbonation.
Tasting Notes: We have not yet tried this vintage of Znestra by Crocizia, but we hear it has notes of white peach, honey, flowers, slight carbonation, and a delicate texture.
