Rum takes the lead in this bottled old fashioned from Crafthouse Cocktails, poured at 24.6% ABV in a 200 ml format. The build follows the traditional template, with bitters spice and caramel sweetness measured against the warmth of the rum and a thread of oak underneath. Because the mixing is already done, there’s no need to measure, stir or reach for a bar kit. What’s in the bottle is a finished cocktail with its spirit, bitters and sugar already in balance.
