Part of The Extinct Blends Quartet, Ultramarine looks back to a blended Scotch made in the late 1980s, rebuilding its signature notes of antique Sherry and pipe tobacco. The 700 ml bottling arrives at 51% ABV, with natural colour and no chill-filtration. The palate is warm and layered, carrying oak, spice and dried fruit through to a smooth, lingering finish. It’s a blended Scotch built for drinkers interested in an older style of blending and the depth that comes with it.
