Compass Box Experimental Grain is a blended grain Scotch whisky that moves away from conventional expectations of the category. It is bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The Loch Lomond grain component brings an unconventional smoke character: herbal, moss-like and persistently layered, giving this release a clearly different profile from the house’s Hedonism.
The whisky is warm and complex, with hints of oak, spice and dried fruit leading to a smooth, lasting finish. A bottling aimed at drinkers looking for more complexity than traditional grain whisky usually offers.
