Description
Código 1530 Barrel Strength Añejo is a small batch tequila aged more than two years in French white oak Cabernet wine barrels. It is bottled at barrel strength, listed at 43.1% ABV and labeled 88 proof, yet stays smooth and gentle with no burn.
The aroma carries toasted oak, while the palate shows subtle caramelized vanilla and dark chocolate. The profile is balanced, with a smooth texture and a smooth finish drawn from the Cabernet barrels.
Made with Los Bajos agave and no added chemicals, flavorings or sweeteners. Served neat, on the rocks or in cocktails. One 750 ml bottle. Awarded Best in Show at the TAG Global Spirits Awards.
