Description
Bottled at 42.5% ABV, Clyde Mays Alabama Whiskey comes from a state better known for other things than whiskey making. The half-size 375ml format holds a spirit built on careful grain selection and the distillery’s own approach to distillation.
The pour leans on grain sweetness up front, with oak tannins giving it structure and vanilla and caramel notes filling in behind. It’s a straightforward look at what craft whiskey production looks like away from the traditional bourbon states.
