Description
Nuits Noires 2024 is a natural wine crafted by Clos Bateau, in the Beaujolais region in . This red wine is made with grapes, and it features a pretty damn sexy label indeed!
Tasting in June 2026 the resting period has really enabled this to evolve and blossom beautifully, as it was a little shy when in first came in October 2025. Expect typical notes of Clos Bateau like cherry and cacao, alongside rustic, prunes and bramble notes plus an almost iron like touche with a soft vegetal kick, finishing on some peppery hints. There is a mild greenness here that works well
About Nuit Noires from Clos Bateau
While making our baby Joujou, we kept some of the grapes for Nuit Noires.
The vinification method is quite the same, the only thing we changed is an open top fermentation and a part of it aged on used Burgundy barrels which give it a different touch. It’s a special cuvée to explore.
Production of just 835 bottles
