Bottled at 43.6% ABV, this Irish whiskey from West Cork spends time in port wine casks after its initial maturation. That second stage adds stone fruit sweetness and a light tannic grip to the spirit, alongside a thread of subtle spice. The result keeps the soft, rounded texture associated with Irish whiskey while carrying the fruit-forward character of port. Each 750 ml bottle finishes cleanly and elegantly, with the cask influence and the base distillate holding a steady balance.
