Two types of oak shape this single batch release from Clonakilty, an Irish whiskey built around careful cask selection and the slow work of wood on spirit. It arrives at 43.6% ABV in a 750 ml bottle, reflecting the West Cork distillery’s ongoing experiments with finishing. The pour leans on vanilla and honey, with oak running underneath and a thread of subtle spice alongside orchard fruit. The texture is creamy, and the layered cask influence keeps shifting as the glass goes on.
