Bottled at 50% ABV, Clement Rhum Canne Bleue is made from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice instead of molasses, the method that defines rhum agricole. The Canne Bleue name points to the use of blue-variety cane, a selection that shapes the spirit’s particular flavor profile.
At this higher proof, the grassy, vegetal side of French Caribbean distillation comes through clearly. Expect sugarcane grass and green vegetal tones, a touch of white pepper, layered herbal notes and a clean finish. 700 ml.
