Description
Chicken Cock Miller’s Reserve is a limited blend of four aged American whiskeys, mixed in Bardstown. It honors founder James A. Miller. The brand dates to 1856 in Paris, Kentucky.
In 1860, Miller lost 475 barrels when the steamboat A.O. Tyler sank.
The blend joins a 10-year Double Oak Kentucky whiskey and an 8-year high-rye bourbon from Indiana. Wheated bourbons from West Virginia and Ohio round it out, bottled at 115 proof.
Expect caramel, fig and toasted oak, then a warm, rye-spiced finish. Sip it neat or over one large cube.
