Crafted exclusively from the elusive “Plant de Graisse” grape, cultivated in a modest 3.5-acre plot, this edition is a testament to Château de Laubade’s dedication to preserving the authenticity and diversity of the Bas Armagnac terroir. With only 39.5 acres of this rare grape grown worldwide, the vineyard, planted in 1997, stands as a unique endeavor in sustaining and showcasing the exceptional distillates of this little-known varietal. Harvested and distilled in 2006, the eau-de-vie spent a remarkable 15 years maturing in Gascogne oak barrels before being bottled in 2022.
