Description
Cazcanes No.10 Still Strength Blanco is bottled right off the still at 108 proof. It starts with 100% organic Blue Weber agave from the lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Natural spring water and native yeasts go into every batch. The name honors the warrior spirit of the Cazcanes people.
Low-pressure autoclaves cook the agave, and a roller mill crushes it. It ferments in stainless steel and is then distilled twice in a pot still. After a short rest in steel, it is bottled unfiltered, with no additives. It is certified organic and kosher.
Nose it gently, since the proof is high. Cooked agave leads, with lime, citrus peel and cracked black pepper. A mineral edge and a little tropical fruit sit just underneath. On the palate, sweet agave meets steady pepper heat. Lime, a hint of brine and some earthy notes keep it lively.
For its strength, it goes down with surprising ease. The finish is long, with white pepper and lingering agave. A few drops of water bring out even more fruit. In 2025 it took Gold at the Agavos Awards.
Sip it neat, or use it to build a bold Paloma or Margarita. It goes well with grilled meats, tacos and fresh seafood. If you want blanco at full power and full flavor, this bottle delivers.
