Description
Cazadores Café brings two of Mexico’s favorite flavors together in one bottle. The base is Cazadores blanco , made from 100% agave. It is blended with richly roasted Mexican coffee. A little agave nectar adds the sweetness, and it is bottled at 33% ABV.
In the glass it is very dark, almost black. Dark roast coffee leads the nose, with vanilla and chocolate close behind. Take a sip and the coffee stays up front. Dark chocolate, vanilla bean and gentle agave sweetness fill in around it. The body is medium and rich, and the finish lingers for a good while.
Judges were impressed, too. At the 2024 TAG Global Spirits Awards, it earned 92 points and a Double Gold medal. They praised how well it works in cocktails and desserts alike.
Pour it straight or over ice after dinner. It shines in an Espresso Martini, a White Russian or a spiked cold brew. You can also drizzle a splash over vanilla ice cream or serve it with tiramisu. A 1.5 oz shot holds only about 3 mg of caffeine, so a nightcap is no problem.
This is an easy pick if you love coffee and tequila and want both in one glass. It also makes a fun gift for the friend who orders an Espresso Martini every time.
