Description
Trousseau 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Sylvain Jacquot of Caveau du Val de l’Amour in the Jura region in . This red wine is made with grapes, vinified in his winery in Cramans, which is essentially his garage at the back of his house. Its a very small operation, and he farms just 1.5-2 hectares so these wines are not easy to come by, and not too much sold outside the region.
This Trousseau needs a quick carafe to blow off a tiny reduction , which is not a problem at all. It then offers you an adventure!
With a vibrant smokey nose then a palate of medicinal herbs, stewed rhubarb and wild strawberries and peppery touches, this wine is certainly full of character!! Really cool!
