Description
Pinot Noir 2023 is a natural wine crafted by Sylvain Jacquot of Caveau du Val de l’Amour in the Jura region in . This red wine is made with grapes, vinified in his winery in Cramans, which is essentially his garage at the back of his house. Its a very small operation, and he farms just 1.5-2 hectares so these wines are not easy to come by, and not too much sold outside the region.
With a mild v.a that does not bother, this scrumptious red offers up a HUGE burst of cocoa powder and chocolate like previous vintages have impressed us with. Herbs like rosemary and thyme creep in and there is a soft saltyness too, inviting you in for another sip. A banger, and very cool and unique!
