Description
(from vines at 4,725 feet) Saturated deep ruby. Precise aromas of blackberry, graphite, licorice and mint. More intense and penetrating than the Nicasia, with even more acid energy to counterbalance its impression of sweetness. From vines picked during a cool April, says Nicolas Catena. Very firmly structured malbec with an extremely long, building, authoritative finish. I’d give this a couple years in the cellar. — Stephen Tanzer
