Castle & Key Restoration Straight Rye Whiskey spends five years in hand-selected barrels before bottling at 100 proof (53% ABV). Distilled and matured at the brand’s historic Kentucky distillery, this 750 ml rye leans into the grain’s spice while keeping a smooth, long close, and it works equally well neat or in a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.
The nose opens with vanilla wafer, dried red apple and orange marmalade, backed by sumac, roasted walnut and nutmeg. On the palate, cinnamon roll and demerara sugar meet baked cassia, peanut brittle, candied lemon peel and allspice, with pie crust, vanilla ice cream and black pepper on the finish.
