Description
Cascahuin Reposado rests 6 to 8 months in seasoned American oak barrels, each with more than 20 years of tequila aging behind it, so the wood frames the agave instead of covering it. Bottled at 42% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
Warm vanilla, toasted oak and dried fruit lead on the nose. The palate is smooth and rounded, with caramel, sweet cooked agave and baking spice, and a silky finish. Made by the Rosales family at their distillery in El Arenal, Jalisco (NOM 1123).
Label note: the photo shows the Mexican-market label, which reads 38% ABV. The bottle we sell is the U.S. import, bottled at 42% ABV (84 proof).
